CRM is two stage effort that includes software and strategies to improve your business relationships with your customers and stay connected with them. CRM solutions vary wildly with the features provided but the basic premise should always be the same.

Your CRM solution should work with you to improve the experience of your customer. It should help organize information related to your customer so that each time they connect with someone in your company they are familiar with that customer.

The advantages to small businesses are pretty substantial because improving your customer’s experience is one of the best ways to stand out from your competitors and keeps your customers satisfied so they don’t consider leaving.

Lead management is a customer oriented tool but also a sales and marketing tool. By organizing and managing your leads and opportunities, your sales cycle will be improved, you will be able to work with a greater number of prospects and ultimately you will be able to close more deals with a small sales force.
